Dr. Makenzie Montie

Dr. Montie is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. Before dental school, she earned her bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida.

Originally from Florida, Dr. Montie grew up in Columbia, Missouri, and is excited to call Kansas City home. She is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centered care and believes every patient deserves to feel comfortable, heard, and confident in their treatment. She especially enjoys restorative and esthetic dentistry while creating personalized treatment plans that improve both the health and appearance of her patients' smiles. Dr. Montie is committed to continuing her education and staying current with the latest techniques, technology, and advancements in dentistry to provide her patients with the highest quality of care. Dr. Montie is also an active member of the American Dental Association and Kansas Dental Association.

Dr. Montie values building genuine relationships with her patients and getting to know them beyond their dental needs. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, reading, and baking. She is excited to be part of the Leawood Dental team and looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients while helping them feel confident in their smiles!
